2026 championship
How do points work?
Drivers score points for finishing in the top 10 of a race: 25, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1. In a sprint race the top 8 score 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Teams are scored separately in the Constructors' championship. Think of it as two leagues running side by side — one for people, one for teams.
